Selina Hagemeyer

I have always been fascinated with how you can create an image on a flat surface. With colors, lights & shadows you can make an image look three dimensional.
As a child I felt a great desire to draw or paint things and images inn my mind. When I was nine I asked my father to buy me a book called “The beginning of drawing” which I still have. Later in my life I went to Fashion & Textile School in Mexico City. While in school I became fascinated with the use of different mediums like pastels, colored pencils, ink, acrylics & oils. I fell in love what I could achieve with oil paint. I have been involved with art & oil painting since 1989 to present and I love it very much.

I believe that God put a desire in my heart to please people with a beautiful expression of fine art on canvas.
